AniMedia East was started back in July 2009 by Melissa Joy (SlimDefinition) and Rachel Springall (Raye)
as there have been no substantial anime-related events in East Anglia, and because fans in the region have found it difficult to discover other like-minded people with whom they can share their interests successfully, and that includes us, the founders.
Our main focal points are to:
A) Organise anime-related events in East Anglia, working our way up from small to large.
B) Provide East Anglia with its own community in which like-minded individuals in the region can chat online, meet at events and hopefully make new friends (however anyone and everyone is welcome).
We are an independent group who run events on our own as well as promoting other clubs and organisations. Their assistance in promoting events is very much appreciated.
AniMedia East is a fan-based non-profitable group.
